Blog

I recently re invented my blogs appearance as it was such a basic layout and was sky blue and girly with awful typography. I think that having a visually attractive blog is a key element within design so I altered the blogs appearance in colour type and pt size added links and then added a visual header which makes the blog really cool to look at.

Sixpack clothing

I contacted sixpackclothing and got an email back from a nice man named Matthieu (who I assume is French) he asked me to send him a few images of my work, so I sent it out to him and am now waiting back for a reply as to wether or not they are interested in purchasing some of my designs for their website.

Graniph

Si Scott recommended contacting this company: Graniph

I basically filled in all my details

Then added three images set to 72DPI and 400x400 pixels in Jpeg format.

Then I received the confirmation informing me that I would be entered into the monthly selection to see if they would like to purchase my work

Portfolio Surgery

I had my surgery with Si Scott, his feed back basically resulted in me gaining a series of websites and illustrators to check out and gain contact with, I learned about Graphic novels and to possibly explore them, also to check out some clothing sites such as Granoph, Threadless and 6 pac clothing . also to check out Del Naka and insect 30 design. I gained a stronger market and got a lot of inspiration and some interesting companies to contact and possibly get some prints done.

Business card

Currently I wanted something to create a real impact upon my illustration skills and for it to be presented in a business card which was a little cheeky and left a impact.

I produced some of my realistic illustration work for this card to show that I can draw.

This is the outcome so far, I want to change the back round so it fits in and looks better and more legible.
