Personal Profession Preparation

1. What is professional/industrial experience?

I think that this kind of experience is basically when you have had work experience with an industry suck as the works, tiger print or other graphic stuidos based in Leeds (for me personally)
Also connecting with these graphic industries via email, placements or even having a look around the different studios.

2. Why is professional/industrial experience important as part of PPD?

This is vital to our development as a desinger as different types of industries work in different ways, I believe that the more placements and experience we can get from different industries the better off we are going to be at adjusting to various backgrounds and ways of working

3. How do you gain professional/industrial experience and what form does it take?

A thorougher investigation into previous graduates and where they have ended up to date:
Also by going into these agencies and asking for a look around etc..
this will be in the form of social skills.

4. What should you aim to gain from professional/industrial experience?

A greater understanding of the industry and then getting my name out in the graphics world, letting them know I exist.
A series of placements based around the world for after university and a
great contact list.
