Traditional tattoo art

Why traditional tattoos and not any other styles such as old school, henna or tribal.

well the reason for this is i personally find traditional tattoos far more interesting than any other form out there for how unique they are in comparison to tribal which being covered in tattoos myself i know all tattooists HATE doing them:

"Guy came in today asked for a tribal.... told him we were all out of black ink"
Nice quote from my old tattooist in Wigan. the fool believed that they were out of black ink
as well... :/ idiot...

erm yeah well basically here are few examples of why i HATE tribal tattoos full stop:

They have a nickname.... slag tags. cool?
every girl that needs pod to give them a make under has one of these attached to their back.

They always look amazing after a few years time.. bold black ink is always a winner.

Everyone that has a slag tag, has a chav boyfriend who has a tribal on his arm.
Prejudice i know but in the visual communication word, this communicates average.

now don't get me wrong these mass produced tattoos that everyone has arn't the only
choice in tattoo that bores me or makes me think god thats stupid, these fellows below
gross me out..

What complete and utter mongs.
They don't even look good, if you want too look like a tw at the end of the day go ahead and get this done.

Then theres guys like this who really take the p155

Looks wicked awsome man, you are going to be a BABEEEEEEE magnet.
it's for all bad reasons like these i love traditional tattoos. they don't try too hard to impress
and don't come with half the consequences as others.

the thing i love about traditional tattoos is the legacy, history and age from the designs, the uncertainty and apocryphal they are. I believe that the designs are amazing.
Here are a few sketches of traditional ink:

my favorite thing about them is the colour palette used, it is limited and is based around CMYK in bold.

See.. they are just awsome.
